How the bednest can help your baby

The BedNest allows your baby to:

  • experience closeness and touch at arms reach which is vital for attachment, bonding and development
  • be fed quietly at night with minimal disturbance
  • successfully breast feed (1) due to ease and convenience at night
  • develop better sleep patterns (1)
  • easily attract mother’s attention (2)
  • have greater interaction (2) with mother
  • make frequent attempted breast feeds (2) which results in more frequent successful feeds (2)

By using the BedNest bedside crib rather than having your baby sleeping in bed with you, you are reducing the risks associated with bed sharing. The closeness between mother and baby also reduces the risk of cot death.
